I'm a 23 year old Baltimorian. I'm a nanny, my life is clearly just oh so glamorous. Have an awesome boyfriend, my job rocks and I like french fries.

M.A.C.’s new line for ….cross dressing clowns? I mean, props to you if you want to go out in public looking like a cross dressing clown.
Whoever was in charge of this marketing campaign should be fired. Apparently some folks found my disdain for this offensive, but I found this ad offensive to my eyes.
photographed @ Nordstrom, saw later at the actual M.A.C. store at the Mall In Columbia

Yes it’s clearly only available for use by cross dressing clowns. There’s no way it’s meant for people who do theatrical makeup or any other kind of brightly colored makeup. How dare Mac do an editorial makeup look in order to market their product.

I wasn’t implying it couldn’t be used for anything else, it’s an ugly campaign. It would be GREAT for theater, yes, but I’m talking about the photographs themselves, the make up is fine, I’ve seen a lot of similar sets before and the brightness or color isn’t the problem. It’s the presentation.
